At extremely short notice, New Year's Eve, I called Bodmin Funeral Services and asked if they could help in moving the body of my friend from the family home near St Mawes. Without blinking, the boss said he was sure they could help - and I should drop by their premises to see what I needed. Within a few minutes one of his staff was following me in the firm's car through the long narrow lanes to the family farm. Phil was very friendly, and respectful, and could not do enough to help.
