Great staff an little waiting.
Excellent art project boasting blue glazed bricks, sand blasted panels with fibre optic lights, a huge chair hewn out of a tree, slumped glass window panels, light projections, tall black and white photos taken by a previous patient, lovely oil paintings, poetry, all by local artists. The small roundabout which has a blue glazed brick path acting as a directional feature has unfortunately become obscured by plants. Some of the art in the hospital has been removed and obscured by plants or tea machine and the lights have stopped working on the sand blast panels and projectors but don't let this put you off. Shame to do this to such a prestigious art project but worth visiting to see the wall alone.
I was referred here by NHS emergency dental service on the same day (3rd July 2017) to have a dental filling, and I was ever so grateful and privileged to have been taken care of by Bodmin Hospital Dental Unit. I had a 3pm appointment and the staff there were very welcoming and relaxed. In fact, the whole unit had a great calmness about it compared to some busy dental clinics. The staff were accommodating and easy to get on with, made my 25 minutes in there felt like 10 minutes. I didn't feel nervous or anxious, every steps were explained to me during the procedure to ensure I was at ease. This is the kind of service that makes our NHS the icon of our national treasures. Lets hope our Government recognise this vital service and continue to support our NHS with absolute commitment.
