This site in my opinion is not for anyone who has children who like to play. They have rules for the regulars and rules for new people. The owners came across as they hated children well our children, all the regulars could play ball games but we got shouted at the moment we did. I didn't like that the owners shone a torch on everyone's tents etc every night past 10pm. Everyone got moaned at for using toilet roll as it was costing them money, isn't that what the site fee is for!!! I would only recommend this site to elderly people who wanna go somewhere and want to just sit and relax, this is defo not a child friendly site at all!!! The ball field was unusable as it has been previously used for cows and the donkeys so very unusable for any games as you could fall and twist an ankle. Me and my husband will not be going back to this site ever again!!! Complaints are not treated well at this site. We had other people playing music past 12pm midnight and the owners didn't care as they were regulars. Washing machine was taped up as they dictated what wash you could do your clothes at, at the end of the day I paid for my washing to be washed I say what wash I put it on. Only thing we enjoyed on the site was the donkeys!!!!
Not very child friendly unless you are a regular to the site! Rules seem to be different to regulars of the site! And sometimes the owners were dam right rude!
Lovely quiet campsite.Everyone very welcoming.Lovely to see the little donkey cart in use.Would definitely use this site again.
What a brilliant little campsite. It is basic, but everything is well maintained and cleaned. If you're lucky you'll get to go on a donkey ride with campsite owner for free! This is the most helpful and welcoming campsite we have ever visited. It's Is also excellent value for money, has amazing views, there is also a woodland walk and it is only 10 minutes drive from the A30 and shops and restaurants. Would give this place 10 stars if I could.
Super friendly hosts and a great spot with links to Cardinham Woods and Lanhydrock House for a couple of days out on the mountain bike trails. Looking forward to visiting again soon.
