WoW, This campsite is perfect location for exploring north Cornwall, The owners of the site David and Emma were great, No request was to much and the site was kept well, you can really see the great effort that is out in to the site. I and my wife will defiantly be going back just wish I booked a little longer but we will next time. The shower block was also great with hot running water. I stay at many sites camping and this is defiantly in my top 3 easy.
Stayed for 6 nights here and was really good site. The electric hook up I had wasn't long enough but the owner went and made an extension for us. The amenities are obviously very new but both the shower block (with the sink for washing up) and the extra toilet block are of great high standard and work well. Definately worth staying at again.
Admittedly this is a small site and tents were pretty up close and personal but the charm of the surroundings were matched by the excellent facilities (fresh baked bread every morning!). The campsite owners could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful. Plenty of experience running campsites, this their new business will, I am sure be a great success.
Fantastic find! Visited here for three nights recently. Love the facilities and the nice small size of the site. Pitches are nice and flat and roomy. Toilet block has nice individual cubicles each with a shower, toilet, sink, hooks etc which is great when camping. Close to camel trail (about three miles) and about 20/30mins walk to Bodmin high street. Owner was really helpful and friendly, we will definitely be back.
We've just returned from a great weekend at Orchard Springs. It's such a lovely peaceful campsite and the owners are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The site overlooks lovely countryside but isn't too far from Bodmin which is handy for shops etc. One couple in our group hired one of the static caravans and it was spotless and modern inside. The pitches for tents are large and fairly level too. There is a little shop on site and the brand new individual bathrooms are great (toilet sink and shower). Thanks for a great weekend, we will be back!
