Better to watch the Steam Engine from the Station because riding in the carriage is nothing Special.
Brilliant nostalgic day out thoroughly enjoyed the great locomotives and the staff. The scenery is magical.
Beautiful day out. We paid for the day tickets and spent all day on the trains. Two lines, one to Bodmin parkway the other towards the Camel trail where you can get off and walk to the pub or spend time on the Camel trail then get the train back an hour later. Food good in the cafe and not too pricey.
Really good day out, a real must, we are not enthusiasts but had a great day. Get the ultimate ticket for unlimited travel to both stops and we spent all day travelling back and forth. The staff are amazing and helpful. The smells and sounds are amazing and there were carriages from different times to bring back memories from my youth.
Happy friendly staff, well looked after engines and carriages and a reasonably priced cafe. You can easily spend a few hours here just meandering up and down the line taking in some stunning Cornish scenery. Would love to go for one of their cream tea trips or evening dinner trips.
