A bit of hidden Cornwall, you have to search this one out. Very large, very steep and VERY DEEP open cast mine which was mined for tin ore from Neolithic times till 19th century. There are a few little footpaths that may lead you to the edge, but BEWARE of steep (vertical) slopes and a long, probably FATAL drop. Do not enter or explore this area unless you are skilled and prepared.
