Love this place , tranquil surroundings around the manor house, accomodation to suit all budgets, ideal for families & couples, waterside cabin with hot tub superb

Seemed a nice little park on arrival when we booked was told nothing of the new years eve party and having to pay, the lodge was really dirty plates had food on switches looked like they hadnt been cleaned in years, was cobwebs everywere we booked for 7 and had to go back to reception as not enough bedding very unclean! The bath was covered in grime and marks either hadnt been cleaned at all or just not very well was quite disappointed

When arriving at Hengar Manor after a 5 hour drive, we were shown to our cabin which was tucked away privately towards the back of the grounds. We were satisfied with the lodge at first but then noticed it clearly hadnt been cleaned before we arrived. The cutlery had dried food on it, and the cups were chipped and stained. From previous experience, on arrival at a holiday park there is usually a few tea bags or at least a coffee sachet, maybe a few pots of milk.. the place was so empty we had to drive miles for a supermarket shop as the shop on the grounds was ridiculously priced and very limited, without mentioning it being shut best part of the day. Dead flies in the bedroom and bath. Cobwebs in every corner of the cabin. And a dead spider amongst mould in the wardrobes! We also had no heating all night, with a 5 year old to keep warm. The hot water was barely luke warm too. When complaining about the no heating, we were told someone was going to drop some electric heaters round until our move in the morning, as our new cabin had to be cleaned.. no heaters were dropped off even though we reported this to reception around 5:30pm. We moved cabins, and it wasnt any cleaner. Even more dead flies in the sun roof of the waterside lodge. Urine left in a toilet. Stained bed sheets. The list is endless. We left a day early. We will not be returning. Probably returning to the same area as that part of Cornwall is beautiful!! Also there is plenty of walking to do!

we loved it here. we have a lodge with a hot tub. clean and tidy. the bed was a bit hard but for the price I paid I'm not complaining at all. looking at coming back again next year. even my little boy loved the ducks coming ever morning for some food will 100%recommend to a friend

What a pretty site. Loved it. Had a bungalow that was spotless. Reception staff were excellent. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent. The bar staff greeted us with smiles and the waiter had such a lovely manner. Had to cut the holiday short and the personal care that was given to us as a family was exceptional. Thank you
