Was refused a room when I was stuck in the snow when it hit bodmin area.Jamaica inn is the respected one to use.should be given a reward.
No atmosphere, poor decor and bland menu. Couldn't wait to drink our drinks and leave. Very disappointing!
Popped into the bar a couple of times for a coffee and snack. On both occasions waited at the bar for some time while several members of staff were coming & going, or 3 of them fussing over the coffee machine! No one acknowledged our presence. It's very rude all is needed is for one of them to say " Good morning someone will be with you in a moment." It makes such a difference when staff are well trained.to make customers feel welcome
A fantastic hotel and golf club just outside of Bodmin, Cornwall. Plenty of parking available. Food is excellent with carvery available every Sunday and festive occasions. Staff are efficient and customer focused. A location I recommend to all.
Good lunch in bar/dining room with fine views to towards the south. Limited menu but sufficient options to cover most tastes.Excellent service. Only downside was problem with settling bill. New computer system so will stay away for a few months while they sort it out.
